Media Advisory: University to Host 鈥溌膛旎ò 101鈥 Session for State Candidates

The University of Alaska will host an introduction to the statewide university system for state candidates during a 鈥溌膛旎ò 101鈥 session at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at the University of Alaska Anchorage campus.
The session will be held in Room 106 of the Commons building, Sharon Gagnon Lane, 绿奴天花板A. Candidates running for public office have been invited to attend. A similar 鈥溌膛旎ò 101鈥 session will be held later in August at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.
The purpose of the non-partisan sessions is to educate candidates on the university鈥檚 mission, programs and budget. The public and media are invited. 绿奴天花板 President Mark Hamilton will attend.
