Mike Brase came to work for the University of Alaska in the spring of 2001 as the
Manager of the Network Control Center group within Statewide ITS. Prior to his current
position of Executive Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Services, he was an Analyst/Programmer
V for the State of Alaska, as well as a Network Specialist for the City and Borough
of Juneau. Before he began his IT career, he spent several years working for the
Alaska Department of Fish and Game in many remote locations across Alaska for the
divisions of Sport Fish and Commercial Fisheries.
