Update on Land Grant Initiative
On October 23, 2026, the University of Alaska and the State of Alaska's Department of Natural Resources have submitted joint requests to the U.S. Bureau of Land Management for the following selections: Elrington, Pediment Creek, Circle Hot Springs/Medicine Lake, Atigun River, Delong Mountains, and West Fork Wulik River.
