  • Josie Sam sits in one of three purple chairs. The paint on the chairs is peeling. Josie holds a clip board and a pen, slightly smiling, leaning in and listening to a man seated opposite of her. Sam is wearing a brimmed hat with sunglasses on top of the hat, a white t-shirt, jeans, and hiking boots. The man sits against the wall. He is holding a paper. He may be smiling a little or he is just talking. He wears shorts and a bright yellow short-sleeved, buttoned, collared shirt with a brown pattern. The shirt is unbuttoned at the top, revealing some of his chest, suggesting a hot environment. Lines in his face suggest he is maybe middle-aged, but not elderly. A third person sits in another of the purple chairs, but all we can see is their knees and fingers. The room they are in is small. The thick concrete walls are painted white on top and bright blue on the bottom up to window height. The paint is a bit textured with age. A large window, which is an open section of wall -- no glass or screen, allows light in, washing out the photo somewhat.
