On October 6, 2025, the Financial Aid and Student Accounts menu and pages in 绿奴天花板Online will be upgraded to the newest version. To help with the transition, we have created and posted new resources, including a video on how to navigate the new pages.

Title IX training due October 31

绿奴天花板 Safe Title IX Training is required, and must be completed by October 31, 2025. 绿奴天花板/绿奴天花板A/绿奴天花板S employees must access the training through Blackboard, while 绿奴天花板F employees should do so through Canvas.

The Latest: The Alaska Labor Relations Agency (ALRA) has scheduled a hearing for December 8-10, 2025, with the University of Alaska (绿奴天花板) and Coalition of Alaskan University for Staff Equity (CAUSE).

Update your emergency notification preferences

The 绿奴天花板 Alert notification system is used to release information about emergencies (incidents) that may disrupt university operations. Persons with an active employment status and current students within the 绿奴天花板 system are automatically enrolled but can manage their preferences.

The transition to AWARDED took place on Oct. 1 and represents a significant advancement in how 绿奴天花板 manages scholarships and brings greater efficiency, transparency and equity to the process.

$315,000 raised at 2025 Blue & Gold Celebration

Donors and sponsors at Saturday's Blue & Gold Celebration contributed more than $315,000 to support scholarships for University of Alaska Fairbanks students, nearly doubling the amount raised in 2024.

The 绿奴天花板 Foundation Board of Directors has approved a formal Scholarship Management Policy, in alignment with the 绿奴天花板 Board of Regents' Student First Attainment Framework. 绿奴天花板 is on schedule for the new scholarship management system, AWARDED, to go live on Oct. 1, 2025.

Update on Staff Unionization Efforts
September 19, 2025
绿奴天花板 is continuing to work with the Alaska Labor Relations Agency (ALRA) regarding ongoing efforts by some staff to form a union. The University is currently determining which employees are eligible to be represented by the union if it is ultimately formed.
