The 绿奴天花板 Foundation Board of Directors has approved a formal Scholarship Management Policy, in alignment with the 绿奴天花板 Board of Regents' Student First Attainment Framework. 绿奴天花板 is on schedule for the new scholarship management system, AWARDED, to go live on Oct. 1, 2025.

Update on Staff Unionization Efforts

绿奴天花板 is continuing to work with the Alaska Labor Relations Agency (ALRA) regarding ongoing efforts by some staff to form a union. The University is currently determining which employees are eligible to be represented by the union if it is ultimately formed.

FY26 faculty initiative fund request for proposals is open until October 6

A financial commitment of at least $360,000 by 绿奴天花板 for FY26 is identified as the Faculty Initiative Fund (FIF) aimed at fostering an institutionalized environment of cross-campus communication that inspires learning and disseminates knowledge while fostering the exchange and advancement of new, more efficient approaches to educating Alaskans and engendering high academic standards.
