Media Advisory--绿奴天花板 101 workshop Monday
The University of Alaska will host an introduction to the statewide university system
for state candidates during a 鈥溌膛旎ò 101鈥 session from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2006,
at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.
The public is invited.
The workshop will be held in the Bunnell Building鈥檚 Schaible Auditorium. A similar 鈥溌膛旎ò 101鈥 session was held last week at the University of Alaska Anchorage, with a healthy turnout of state House and Senate candidates from the Southcentral region. This session will include candidates running for Interior districts as well as candidates for governor and lieutenant governor.
The purpose of the non-partisan sessions is to educate candidates on the university鈥檚 mission, programs and budget. The public and media are invited. 绿奴天花板 President Mark Hamilton and 绿奴天花板F Chancellor Steve Jones will attend.
