President Pat Pitney (ret.) appointed former ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åF Chief of Staff Nickole Conley as the ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°å system’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Nickole will continue to be based in Fairbanks, but will also spend time in Anchorage and Juneau to support university leadership throughout her appointment.

Nickole began her career at ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åF in 2003 and has served as Chief of Staff since 2018. Her roles prior to that include time as the chief financial officer for ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°åF’s College of Engineering and Mines, and deputy operations director at the Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP).
