The University of Alaska Fairbanks announced on September 11 that Kaydee Van Flein will assume the role of interim associate vice chancellor for student affairs while Ali Knabe serves as interim chief of staff to Interim Chancellor Mike Sfraga.

At the September 5 full board meeting in Juneau, the University of Alaska Board of Regents approved a resolution of appreciation for former 绿奴天花板F Chancellor Dan White. White retired from his role as Chancellor in July.

In January of 2025, 绿奴天花板A Chancellor Sean Parnell announced his intent to retire at the end of the spring 2025 semester. 绿奴天花板 President Pat Pitney has named an interim chancellor to lead 绿奴天花板A upon Chancellor Parnell's retirement, and convened a search committee to guide the search for 绿奴天花板A's next permanent Chancellor.
