Kerynn Fisher appointed executive officer for 绿奴天花板 Board of Regents

The position is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the board, university administration, governmental entities, and the public. Fisher has served as special assistant to University of Alaska President Pat Pitney since October 2020.

Following the April 11 announcement that KPC Director Cheryl Siemers will serve as interim chancellor for 绿奴天花板A, Chancellor Sean Parnell is accepting letters of interest and nominations for the interim director role at Kenai Peninsula College.

Cheryl currently serves as the director of 绿奴天花板A's Kenai Peninsula College (KPC). She has excellent leadership experience, understands and clearly articulates 绿奴天花板A's dual-mission, and has led enrollment growth at KPC. Cheryl will work alongside Chancellor Parnell during his transition and will begin as Interim Chancellor on May 17.

Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Anupma Prakash has announced her retirement, effective May 31, 2025. The University of Alaska Fairbanks is launching a national search for her successor.
